Friend on the Street

L.A. is a pretty big town, but I spend a lot of time in one district and manage to run in to people with such frequency that you'd think I lived in a small town. Lizzie is one of these people. She's a cook at on of my favorite downtown establishments and looks well out together in and outside of the kitchen.

Rainy Days L.A.

We had what seemed like endless rain for two weeks last month. Here are a few photos I managed to snap.

I didn't see a lot of faces outside.




But, this young woman turned around to stand out from umbrella-face.




Rain seems to bring out the wackiest fashion trends.



I hope these sheets weren't part of a waiter's upcoming script.




And this is probably the cleanest mess I've seen on this particular corner.
